Malsch, Germany 24/06/2026 – Sunrise Medical announces the launch of the QUICKIE QS3 X, a new active folding wheelchair that expands the QUICKIE QS-series folding portfolio. Designed to bring class-leading driving and folding performance to the entry-level segment, the QS3 X combines FreeFold folding performance, lightweight design, and modern aesthetics with simplified ordering and shortened lead times.
Complementing the QUICKIE QS5 X and QS7 X, the QS3 X has been developed to make premium folding performance accessible to more riders while helping dealers simplify configuration, stocking, and delivery.

At the heart of the QS3 X is proven FreeFold performance. The improved kinematics of the simplified 2-arm cross brace deliver effortless folding and unfolding performance typically associated with premium folding wheelchairs.
Combined with a transport weight from just 8.3 kg (FF) / 9.0 kg (SA), the QS3 X offers an exceptional combination of lightweight handling, easy transport, and durability. An optional folding lock keeps the wheelchair securely folded during lifting, storage, and transport.

Built from lightweight 6000 series aluminium with forged and cast components, the QS3 X is engineered to maximise efficiency without compromising durability.

The integrated castor design further reduces weight, vibration, and service complexity while contributing to the wheelchair’s clean, modern appearance.
